An exceptional 380SLC with just 58k miles and essentially two owners from new.

Supplied new by Huddersfield Garages in September 1981 to Decopac LTD of Brighouse, West Yorkshire. It passed between father to son before being son in 2010 to a Dr Walton, who owned it until we acquired it last year.

Finished in the wonderfully period Champagne Gold with Brazil Brown velour. It features Walnut wood trim, electric windows and sunroof, cruise control and alloy wheels.

When we acquired the car it had been dry stored for a number of years. We have carried out a light restoration with a mechanical recommissioning including all new brakes, new period-style Blockley tyres, new fuel pump and a service. In addition we have carried out a light restoration (with photographic record), correctly addressing all areas where corrosion was starting. The all-important bulkhead has been checked and found to be excellent and original.

This has always been a very original car that has been stored inside. It still has its original dealer number plates, tax disc holder and rear window decal. The interior is the biggest evidence of it being kept inside – there is no fading or UV damage. The velour is still a rich brown with no wear or fading, the dashboard is unmarked and the wood is in excellent and original condition.

The bodywork is in beautiful condition as the photos show with excellent brightwork. The underside is in excellent condition with no corrosion.

Supplied with all its original books and manuals, and a full service history (24 stamps), two keys and HPI clear.

Registered as a historic vehicle so exempt from road tax, MoT and ULEZ.

SLCs of this calibre are few and far between today. This low mileage, low owner SLC has had just the right level of refurbishment while preserving its originality. A beautiful example that would be a fine addition to any collection.
