An incredible find. This ’87 300SL, finished in arguably the most desirable colour scheme of Nautic Blue metallic with grey leather, has covered just 14,149 miles from new.
Supplied new in 1987 by Isaac Agnew Ltd of Belfast to the first owner who kept the car until 1990 when it was purchased by the second owner who kept the car until 2019. During his tenure the car was carefully dry stored in a car-coon as a part of his car and motorcycle collection and covered less than 3000 miles and not seen any rain since 1990.
All original books and manuals come with this SL, including the service book, stamped at Isaac Agnew Mercedes and most recently in July 2019 by Mercedes Belfast where it received a service and a health check, which it passed on every count. Just 170 miles have been covered since.
The first aid kit, tool kit, jack and spare wheel all remain unused.
With so few miles it is little surprise that the car is in truly exceptional original condition throughout. The body is unmarked as is the original hood and hardtop. The interior has no signs of use and the engine bay still retains its original protective wax coating. The wheels are unmarked, original and still wear the tyres it was fitted with new, which have 5-6mm of tread remaining. As you might expect it drives as new.
A rare opportunity to acquire an ultra low mileage facelift R107 that would befit any collection.
