A lovely two-keeper W126 that has covered just 87k miles from new.
First registered in February 1988, the car was leased to a Mr Corrigan via Arnold Clark. After four years he decided he liked the car so much he bought it off the lease company. In the end, he liked the car so much he kept it 29 years until 2017 when we acquired it and supplied the car to its last owner of 5 years.
Finished in Astral Silver with navy blue cloth interior contrasted by Zebrano woodwork.
This car has an excellent, and indeed full, service history with 34 recorded services from new. There are two service books (the first ran out of space) and folder full of receipts that go back to the car’s first lease agreement, plus a spreadsheet detailing everything that has been done to the car since new.
Last serviced in January ’22, MoT until 29/01/23, three keys and HPI clear.
As the photos show, this S-Class is a very tidy car that presents very well. Only a few rust spots to the front bumper chrome and some bubbling to the offside rear wheel arch detract.
Importantly, the underside is in excellent shape and the scuttle panel under the rear screen is rust-free and original.
Matching recent Continental tyres all round on the original steel wheels with hub caps.
The interior is a lovely place to be and completely original right down to the Blaupunkt stereo. There is no seat wear and the original ribbed over mats are still in place.
Thanks to continual maintenance and low mileage this 126 drives beautifully. It is a real pleasure to waft around in.
Overall, a very solid, smart W126 with excellent provenance and history. A great driver car that’s ready to use and enjoy.
