An outstanding, two-owner 190E with just 69k miles from new.
Finished in Arctic White with navy blue cloth trim, it has the 2-litre engine with the five-speed manual gearbox. Options include a leather steering wheel, electric windows and sunroof.
First registered in May 1991, the first owner was Guiness PLC. The second, private, owner bought the car in 1996 and kept it until he passed away in 2022. The car was always garaged and only 13k miles were covered since ’96.
The service history comprises of 13 entries. We have just serviced the car along with replacing the starter motor, alternator and water pump, along with all ignition components. Recently passed its MoT with no advisories.
Private registration plate included with sale.
While there are plenty of 190Es still around, there are very few that are as immaculate and original as this example. There is no rust, no repairs, the underside is corrosion-free and the bodywork superb, thanks to being garaged and sparingly used over the last 25 years. The wheel trims are perfect and the wheels wear premium tyres.
The interior is similarly immaculate with beautiful woodwork and unworn cloth upholstery. The door cards, which are prone to issues, are in excellent condition.
Being a five-speed manual, the gearing of the fifth gear is considerably taller than automatic versions, making for very relaxed high-speed cruising.
In summary, an immaculate, highly original 190E with low mileage and only two owners from new. Exactly the sort of beautifully preserved car that we love to find.
