A beautiful W463 G-Wagen in exceptional condition with just 82,198 miles from new.

 

UK supplied and first registered on January 1st 1994 to a Dutch gentleman living in Chelsea, but it is a 1991 built car. Astral Silver with grey leather interior, automatic gearbox, electric windows and sunroof, sliding side windows, alloy wheels and a Nakamichi stereo.

 

What is so lovely about this particular G, is how original and unmolested it is. There are no modifications – bodykits, aftermarket wheels or exhausts. It is how it left the factory 32 years ago. Though we suspect the interior was retrimmed in leather when the car was new at the customer’s request.

 

The other fantastic thing about it, is how corrosion free it is. Those who know these Gs well will know that they are often very corroded underneath and on top too. But this car has been exceptionally well preserved and is incredibly original.

 

When the last owner purchased the car he took it straight to Mercedes for an inspection, then set about rectifying every fault they found, spending £6500 in the process to ensure this W463 remained in top condition, including a new exhaust system, heater blower and refurbished steering box. Most recently the car has had a new head gasket and head rebuild, and new steering arms.

 

As a result, this is a very well sorted G-Wagen that drives very well indeed. Beautiful paintwork, matching tyres, and a gorgeous interior that has not suffered from being ‘worked’ as so many have.

 

There’s a good history file containing numerous receipts for work carried out. HPI clear, spare keys and a recent MoT with no advisories.

 

Really good, highly original G-Wagens of this era are very hard to come by. This is a particularly lovely example that has been very well maintained.
