A truly outstanding A124 E320 Sportline Cabriolet that has covered just 50,010 miles from new.

 

Finished in rare Imperial Red with a black fabric roof and contrasting Mushroom leather interior. Optional equipment includes the Sportline package, 5-speed automatic gearbox, heated seats, electric driver’s seat, headlamp wash/wipe and cruise control.

The Sportline package includes firmer, more driver focused suspension, faster steering, smaller steering wheel  and wider wheels and tyres along with ‘Sportline’ badging and gear shift knob.

 

Supplied new in the summer of 1994 by H L Gorner of Warrington. It has had three owners from new, with the second owner (’99-08) also being the last owner (’13-23). It has evidently always been garaged and used sparingly for high days and holidays.

 

Comes with all original books and manuals. We have just carried out a major service, replacing all fluids and filters including transmission. All the brakes have been replaced and all the tyres are new. During our preparation we noted that the all-important engine wiring harness has been replaced.

 

Having had a cossetted life with low mileage, this E320 is in absolutely outstanding condition throughout. The body is exceptional, the hood and the wheels are unmarked. The interior is as fresh and original as we have ever seen with no UV damage or wear. The original Blaupunkt stereo is still in place and the car comes with (not pictured) an immaculate set of ribbed Mercedes over mats.

 

On the road this 320 performs exactly as they should and is a delight to drive. It has a tightness and crispness that you rarely find.

 

While evidently a strikingly attractive example in rarely seen Imperial Red, this is also one of the best, most original E320 Cabriolets we have had the pleasure of owning. Perfect for the collector looking for a beautiful example.
