Known in the West as the Lexus LS400, in Japan the same car was badged Toyota Celsior. The car that first successfully challenged the traditional European and American luxury car makers. And in many areas, eclipsed them.
This immaculate example has covered just 34,876 miles from new.
First registered in December 1996 in Japan, this Celsior was finished in Crystal White with beige wool interior and comprehensively equipped, including electric, massage, heated rear seats, climate control, cruise control and adaptive air suspension.
Having covered just 34k miles, this Celsior was imported to the UK in 2020. Since arrival it has had the Japanese navigation replaced with a Dynavin unit that gives the car 2020 levels of multimedia system including sat nav, DAB radio, Bluetooth, reverse camera and much more.
Two keys, book pack and service records from Japan.
As we hope the photos show, this Celsior is in utterly incredible original condition throughout. There is not a mark on the Crystal White paintwork, the original wheels wear matching Bridgestones, the interior is absolutely flawless with no signs of wear or even use. The engine bay and underside are immaculate and still appear new. A fabulous car to drive – near silent and with a magic carpet ride.
This is a car that has evidently been kept inside from new and sparingly used in the salt-free, kinder climate of Japan, making it a truly exceptional example.
