A beautiful W211 E500 in Titanite Red metallic with black leather and just 65,957 miles from new.
The W211 E500 model was something of a down-sized S-Class, sharing its 302bhp 5-litre V8 and cossetting air suspension, but with a smaller body it was faster and rather more nimble. It didn’t try to be sporty, there were no visible exhaust tips, no bodykit, and no outward identification it was anything other than a run of the mill 4-cylinder model apart from the badge, and those who knew might spot the unique 17in five-spoke alloys. The E500 was designed to be comfortable, quiet, discreet and fast, much like the W124 E500.
This example was specified with gorgeous Titanite Red metallic paintwork, which makes a welcome change from the ubiquitous silver of this era. Inside it has black leather and all the equipment you would expect including heated/memory/power seats, climate control, cruise, xenons, adjustable air suspension and a desirable wood/leather steering wheel.
Sold new in Japan, it was imported to the UK in 2016, at which point it had covered just under 12k miles. There have been three UK owners and there is a full service history from new both from Japan and the UK. Today the mileage is at just 65k.
Comes with all original books manuals and two keys.
In 2023 all the wheels were diamond cut refurbished and shod with new, matching Uniroyal tyres. Most recently the rear air springs have been replaced.
As the pictures show, in great condition throughout and entirely original with no modifications. No corrosion thanks to spending much of its life in Japan.
A rare model with great colours and a low mileage, and a lot of car for the money.
