A very special 300SL with just 43k miles and only two owners from new.

Finished in the classic Mercedes combination of silver and blue - Astral Silver with a dark blue cloth interior with walnut wood and a dark blue hood.

The specification includes air conditioning, a desirable but surprisingly rare option. Other options include rear seats, headlamp wash/wipe, wood gear shift and illuminated vanity mirrors.

In addition, the radio has recently been upgraded to a Blaupunkt Bremen SQR, giving period correct appearance but with modern functionality including Bluetooth hands-free, music streaming and DAB.

Supplied new by Normand of Mayfair to a Mr Ali Pakpour in March 1987. The original bill of sale shows it cost £34,689 new.

Mr Pakpour kept the car until his death in 2022, when ownership was briefly transferred into his son’s name to enable a probate sale. Since then, it has one, MB collector, owner.

The file details all servicing going back to 1995, with the majority of servicing carried out by MB of Slough. More recently it was serviced by a specialist mid 2024 at 43,068 miles.

The condition of this car is exceptional; the paintwork is unmarked, the hood is still the original, still with original hood windows and is in fine condition.
