What an incredible car. This one owner W124 has covered just 17,184 miles from new and been garaged from new. It is in time warp condition throughout and could easily be prepared for concours.

Purchased new in January 1993 by Dr Saxena from HMG Mercedes of Bromley. Saxena also purchased shortly afterwards a C180, which was mainly used and lived outside on the drive. The 200E remained garaged and only used for holidays and special occasions.

In 2017, following the death of Dr Saxena, ownership passed to his wife, but the car remained in the garage and was not driven.

Finished in Almandine Red metallic with mushroom cloth interior, front electric windows, Zebrano wood trim, driver’s airbag and the rare option of colour-coded hub caps.

Note, this is a partial facelift car with the pre-facelift appearance (full chrome grill etc.) but with the updated engines, so it has the more powerful 16-valve engine than earlier 200Es.

Thanks to being a London car from new (so never exposed to road salt) and always garaged in a dry integral garage, the condition of this W124 is quite incredible and totally original.

The underside is like new with absolutely zero corrosion, the bodywork is immaculate, and the interior is similarly new with no wear or sun damage at all. It is, quite simply, the nearest thing you can get to a new W124.

Had a major service, including the gearbox, under 20 miles ago. At the same time, it had a new genuine exhaust system. We have just fitted four new tyres as some of the tyres were the originals!

Comes with all original books/manuals, receipts and even the original brochures from when the car was bought new.

Such a rare find to discover a W124 that’s so low mileage and in such exceptional, original condition. A delight in every respect.
