Model: E39 525d Sport

Interior Colour: Black Leather

An immaculate E39 525D that has been in the same ownership since two years old, always garaged and serviced exclusively with BMW main agents.

BMW’s E39 5-series is rightly appreciated as a modern classic. Not only is it incredibly handsome, blending just the right mix of aggression and formality, but it was lauded as being the best in its class to drive. For many, it (along with the E38 7-Series) is the last BMW before the marque lost its way. Despite being a very popular car in its day, good examples are really quite hard to find today.

This 525d was purchased by its last owner as an approved used car from Altwood BMW in the summer of 2005. It was only two years old with 33k miles. He kept the car until his recent passing, owning it for over 20 years.

During his ownership the car was always kept inside and always serviced and MoT’d by BMW main agents, with anything requiring attention carried out without pause.

Finished in Sterling Grey with black leather trim. It has the desirable M Sport specification with M bodystyling and wheels. Options include Shadow-Line, fine wood trim, multi-functional steering wheel, sports seats, park distance control (PDC), Xenon headlamps, auto air conditioning and more – all listed below.

Comes with all original books and manuals, two sets of keys, both with supplying dealer key rings, a substantial folder containing every bill since 2005.

The wheels have just been refurbished and shod with a new set of matching Kumho tyres.

The bodywork is in lovely condition, and thanks to being garaged the underside is in superb order with no evidence of corrosion in the usual places, or previous repair.

The interior is, quite simply, as new; it even smells new. There are no signs of wear and no UV damage. All accessories work and the AC is ice cold. Complete tool kit.

On the road this BMW drives beautifully. Tight, taught and squeak-free, it drives as if its 6 months, not 23 years old.

In summary, a cracking example of perhaps BMW’s last great saloon car. Fantastically cared for and with very attractive spec and colours.
