Supplied new in California, this SL500 was treated to a great specification. It wears AMG body styling, AMG wheels, chrome plated of course because it’s from California, and Designo Diamond Black metallic paintwork. Inside, it had Designo red and black leather trim and real carbon fibre trim instead of the usual wood. In addition, it has climate control, cruise control and electric seats, heated seats, Bose sound system and xenon headlamps.

This is a 2-owner car. It was bought new by a Mr Klausner of Santa Monica who kept it until he passed away in 2021. It was then imported into the UK and purchased by a Mr Aigner, a Mercedes enthusiast who always garaged it.

We have service records from California, from both main dealer and specialists, and in the UK the car has been solely looked after by Mercedes-Benz of Bath, even the MoTs. MB Bath carried out the last service and health check at 70,372 miles.

The Diamond Black paintwork is in excellent condition and recently machine polished. It appears to be original paint too. Being a California car, the underside is in incredible condition with zero rust.

Inside the interior is overall in nice original condition, even retaining its original stereo and Designo over mats, though there is some cracking to the centre console.

Drives great with loads of go and lovely, cold air conditioning. Hardtop has had a new headliner, new battery and most of the roof ram seals have been replaced.
